Many LGBTQIA+ young people are facing a level of pressure right now that is hard to overstate. Not just from laws or public rhetoric, but from the places that are supposed to feel safest.
Family rejection remains one of the leading reasons LGBTQIA+ youth experience housing insecurity. When support disappears at home, stability disappears fast. That moment changes everything. Suddenly, young people are worrying about where they will sleep, who they can trust, and whether anyone will show up for them at all.
At QNEST, we exist for that moment.
We support LGBTQIA+ youth who are navigating family rejection and housing instability, offering community, peer support, and a place to be seen without conditions. We may not have housing open yet, but we are building the support systems that help young people survive the gap and find their footing again.
Because no one should have to choose between being themselves and having a place to belong.
